This wine comes from one of the oldest blocks in one of the oldest pinot noir vineyards in California. The maturity of the vines and the subsequent low yield produces unique wines that demonstrate a smokey, candied cherry profile. Multiple layers of flavor are present both upfront and during its long finish.

This organically-farmed vineyard located in the cool growing area of Santa Rita Hills produces highly complex wines with depth and weight. Dark in color, the nose exhibits smoke, spice and red fruits while the mouthfeel shows some tannic weight with tastes of baked cherry, toast, and asian spice. This wine will continue to age and develop additional nuanced flavors.
